Plenty of everything this week, anger, laughter, insults, and time (lots of it). Oh yeah, and maybe some good material to ponder too. We start this week by answering a call out on the blog. Then we talk at length about Valentines Day in Japan, and the latest in gifts for the girls this year. Finally in the bullets themselves, we briefly look at some of the announcements from the New York Comic Con, dramatic news from the companies in Japan, and a controversial hentai game (even by typical hentai standards), being pulled from Amazon.

Chocolate with a bit of salt is quite good. I’ve had chocolate with caramel topped with a sprinkling of kosher salt. Think of a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
When chocolate is used in savoury dishes, the (usually dark) chocolate (unsweetened) imparts a smokey flavour.

Hi guys another very enjoyable show. Just wanted to comment on the rumored Sakura Taisen 5 release in the US. It was specifically mentioned at “rpgamer.com” in an interview with NIS America. I will save myself the explanation and just post the question along with the answer:
“RPGAMER: A little birdie told us that someone was finally getting brave enough to localize a game in the Sakura Wars series, mainly the fifth game in the main series for the PS2. Would that be NIS America, and what can you tell us about the game?
NISA: Haha, your birdie knows too much. Let’s just say the game is in the works by an undisclosed company. I’ve heard somewhere that the game should come out in ’09.”
Even though it is probably the worst one in the series (I have only played 1-4) it does have that ‘American’ setting which would lend itself well to the US audience. If it proves to be at all successful perhaps we could get the Sakura Taisen 1+2 psp port that came out in Japan a few years back.
Just a little wishful thinking ^^.
p.s. I look forward to some SF4 action in a few day. Perhaps I challenge is in order Mike
